Day Camp is designed specifically for younger children with opportunities to explore the beautiful outdoors while enjoying a variety of activities. Your child will receive excellent care and supervision by our qualified staff team.

 
 

Jump into fun-filled days packed with adventures and activities like wall climbing, group games, pony rides, nature hikes, swimming, archery and more! Take home awesome crafts, new knowledge from Bible studies, and amazing memories with new friends! Come, experience all that summer camp has to offer while being able to go home and sleep in your own comfy bed.

 

Day Camp

  • Rates: $269/camper (*GST not included)

A Typical Day at Camp

 

  • 8:30 – 9:00 am Arrival & Free Play Stations
  • 9:00 am Welcome & Circle Time
  • 9:15 am – 10:45 am Morning Activities
  • 10:45 am SNACK
  • 11:00 am Swimming
  • 11:45 am Changing
  • 12:00 pm Lunch
  • 1:00 pm Quiet Time
  • 1:30 pm Story Time
  • 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Afternoon Activities #1
  • 3:00 pm SNACK
  • 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm Afternoon Activities #2
  • 4:30 pm Group Gathering
  • 4:30 pm – 5:10 pm Pick Up and Free Play

Note:

*Day Camp is an opportunity for campers to experience many of camp’s activities and spaces. Throughout the week there will be nature walks, interactive crafts, archery, climbing wall, a pony ride, daily pool blocks, and a variety of group games. Activity groups will be divided by age, though there will be several times throughout the day where the whole group is together.

 

This is a great introductory experience to camp especially if your child isn’t ready to spend several nights away from home. Snacks and Lunch will be provided.

 

*During the week, there will be an opportunity for each child to experience a pony ride. There will also be a couple of activity blocks at the climbing wall and archery range.

Drop Off / Pick Up Times

 

(Must have a minimum of 12 to run each session. Limited to 30 campers/session. Capacity subject to changes in COVID guidelines/restrictions. Capacity may change without warning.)

Packing List

 

  • Weather appropriate clothing. Please be prepared for variable weather! We will be outside rain or shine, so please send your camper prepared with a warm sweater and rain jacket.
  • A hat is strongly encouraged
  • Comfortable outdoor shoes to run in
  • A water bottle (minimum 1 Litre)!
  • Sunscreen and bug repellent (with deet)
  • We encourage campers to bring a back-up set of clothes, just in case!

Pioneer will provide a healthy lunch and snacks each day that your camper is with us at Day Camp.

 

As well, we are a NUT AWARE facility, so if you are sending extra snacks with your camper, please do not send your camper with any products that contain nuts, or traces of nuts so that we can protect many of our staff and campers who have severe allergies.
